Fresh ginger root. Sliced, julienne, chopped or grated. Ginger powder and the candied ginger.
Marco got covered in spiderwebs earlier and I thought it was ridiculous. Apparently he didn’t get the word that Halloween is over. I have a wicked bruise on my knee from last night when I banged it into one of those slidey down poles at a playground. And my ginger plant has shot up :3
In other news, I am almost tempted to pull an all-nighter to finish the longboard, but I am trying desperately to get onto a normal sleep schedule
Another plant update :D
I found what I think is cilantro sprouting up in my garden outside. I dug it up to put inside with my basil plant. Marco was sure it was a treat for him
And there’s my basil still kickin’ along
And the real reason for this plant update was that the ginger root I planted has sprouted up :D It has two lil shoots that are so unbelievably adorable
And I’ll get a drawing posted up once I have access to the scanner again

I’ve wanted to grow ginger since I was 15 or so and had my first taste of ginger tea. I finally bought a root ((from a grocery store; probably not the best idea, but whatever)). Hopefully I can get it to sprout up :3
I swear one of these days there will be art on this blog again :p
